Desiree and Norm’s beautiful July wedding at The Hollins House was perfect in every way. A warm clear evening, a venue that overlooks the Monterey Bay. Awesome city and ocean views, this venue and wedding was quintessential Santa Cruz.

Sarah and Austin got married this past weekend — Saturday, September 18, 2010. ‘At the Dunes’ was the host, Pajaro Dunes, Watsonville was the setting. And, as will often happen in September out on this lovely and magnificent central coast beach,  THE LIGHT WAS AMAZING!!

Sarah was stunning in the muted golden light.

In fact, this wedding was all about the light. It was variable,  spectacular, warm, glaring and glowing as only a beach on the Monterey Bay in September can be…..

This is a great venue. Condos for dressing and relaxing.  For your celebration, there is a large redwood deck with indoor facilites with huge fireplaces and the best part, THE PAJARO DUNES AND BEACH just up the stairs. This is one of MY personal favorite places to shoot a wedding.   AT THE DUNES

Beautiful afternoon and evening with family, friends, great food, drink, dance and GREAT LIGHT!! A very good omen for a new marriage.

Peachwoods Santa Cruz was the site of Meghan and Victor’s very stylish and fun July Wedding.

The wedding colors were chartreuse (for lack of a better description) and purple with lots of fabulous lite green orchids and deep purple calla lilies. Meghan worn these to-die-for shoes at the reception.

Not sure which came first….the shoes or the choice of colors. I can see planning an entire wedding around these shoes. CAN’T YOU?

The Ladies looked amazing…..

A true Santa Cruz destination wedding - Meghan and Victor live outside Manhattan, I talked to folks from Georgia as well as California’s central valley. One thing everyone agreed on — they All LOVED the cooler Santa Cruz weather…cuz it is HOT this summer where they live.

Peachwoods did a great job as always - providing the beautiful setting. The Flowers by Laura Sweeley of Sweeley’s Design Shop were abundant and amazing.

It was a wonderful evening……and I heard something about a Paris honeymoon!!    Well Done Meghan and Victor!!

Fabulous June wedding at Kennolyn’s Hilltop Hacienda. Cherie and Joe and guests enjoyed an amazing summer afternoon at the exclusive Spanish style retreat.

Peachwoods shines from the exciting preceremony to the blissful end of reception. As a santa cruz wedding photographer I love the amazing lush garden backgrounds, the on site coordinator who keeps things running smoothly, the open airy reception room and the food is terrific!
