Oh man did Jennifer and Kevin get lucky!!  Wouldnt you know, they scheduled their wedding on day 15 of latest installment of THE Calif central coast’s spring rain marathon. Mucho rain in the morning…..But by mid afternoon the sun was out and it was party time!

I brought umbrellas and rain gear…just in case. But the sun was smiling (if not on the whole day, the afternoon at least).

Absolutely stunning flowers from Amanda at Laughin’ Gal Floral were the perfect addition to the day, confirming the news: Spring is here!!…even if it WAS winter this morning!

Jennifer looked amazing, like she stepped right out of a bridal magazine. She and Kevin were beaming as they said ‘Yes I DO’ to eachother.

Five Star Catering served a sumptuous meal.  Their presentation and attention to detail was flawless and a great treat for everyone.

Sarah and Austin got married this past weekend — Saturday, September 18, 2010. ‘At the Dunes’ was the host, Pajaro Dunes, Watsonville was the setting. And, as will often happen in September out on this lovely and magnificent central coast beach,  THE LIGHT WAS AMAZING!!

Sarah was stunning in the muted golden light.

In fact, this wedding was all about the light. It was variable,  spectacular, warm, glaring and glowing as only a beach on the Monterey Bay in September can be…..

This is a great venue. Condos for dressing and relaxing.  For your celebration, there is a large redwood deck with indoor facilites with huge fireplaces and the best part, THE PAJARO DUNES AND BEACH just up the stairs. This is one of MY personal favorite places to shoot a wedding.   AT THE DUNES

Beautiful afternoon and evening with family, friends, great food, drink, dance and GREAT LIGHT!! A very good omen for a new marriage.

A recent evening at Natural Bridges was the setting for Gloria and Ariel’s VERY fun engagement shoot.

Trying to catch a nice, warm, clear evening in March at Natural Bridges, Santa Cruz can be challenging but we managed to do just that. Maybe not warm…especially  after Ariel, while holding Gloria, slipped and both took an unexpected tumble into the water. Brrrhhh…

But they were troopers and with a quick wardrobe change, the shoot went on…..(note to self: have em bring extra clothes to this shoot!)

We even had a resident Snowy Egret join us to say hello!!

April 10, 2010 is Gloria and Ariel’s  wedding day. With their ceremony at St Patricks Church in Watsonville and Reception At The Dunes.

Another great venue for a truly memorable Santa Cruz Wedding is of course…the beach. “At the Dunes”, Pajaro, was the site of this warm, wonderful wedding celebration, late September 2007. Situated at the  south end of Santa Cruz County, Pajoro Dunes is a secluded beach community which sits along a remarkable, long, luxurious stretch of California beach. Nestled in the dunes are comfy condos and townhomes making this a perfect venue for your wedding celebration.
