FUN PHOTO SHOOT!  Kellie and David enjoyed SUCH a nice evening for their engagement pictures (a raffle prize which they won last January at the Coconut Grove Bridal Show…YAHOO)!

Our shoot started about an hour before sunset, there was a light fog kissing the shoreline creating a soft, glowy light effect on the beach….

the water was lapping at their feet…….it was calm water with the tide receding

I’m tellin ya, the weather conditions dont get much better down there for a photo session at Natural Bridges.

We caught gorgeous weather earlier in May for Jennifer and Gino’s engagement shoot. My new favorite couple have an Oct 1, 2011 wedding planned at the beautiful Holly Farm in Carmel. For this day however, Pt Lobos and Monestary Beach were the background for SWEET romance and fun in the sun.

Such a delightful evening and as you can see, the backlight framed their love perfectly. Cant wait for your wedding day Jennifer and Gino. It will be smashing!

A recent evening at Natural Bridges was the setting for Gloria and Ariel’s VERY fun engagement shoot.

Trying to catch a nice, warm, clear evening in March at Natural Bridges, Santa Cruz can be challenging but we managed to do just that. Maybe not warm…especially  after Ariel, while holding Gloria, slipped and both took an unexpected tumble into the water. Brrrhhh…

But they were troopers and with a quick wardrobe change, the shoot went on…..(note to self: have em bring extra clothes to this shoot!)

We even had a resident Snowy Egret join us to say hello!!

April 10, 2010 is Gloria and Ariel’s  wedding day. With their ceremony at St Patricks Church in Watsonville and Reception At The Dunes.

Oh man did we luck out with the nice weather a couple of weeks ago. And we already had the dates scheduled to do our engagement sessions in prep for these June weddings — how great is that?? To already have the dates scheduled and then the weather is super perfect !! Anyway, the result? Two great engagement shoots at Natural Bridges Beach; Santa Cruz. Here are –

Alexis and Ron - December 7th engagement shoot  in Redwoods @ Henry Cowell Park, Felton.

The light was fabulous this early afternoon in the redwoods, very warm and glowy….These pics are all shot with Canon Mark III,  Canon L series  70-200 usm lens and the wonderful existing light. We had a very fun time….
